The children have had a lovely start to Forest School this week. We have started with team building activities and games and have used the classroom learning as a stimulus for some of our activities. Class 1 have created a trap for the evil pea, built a castle for the dragon and made magic wands with the potato peelers. Class 2 got very mucky making “Earthday” cakes in the mud kitchen, made some beautiful natural headdresses and continued constructing and perfecting ideas for dens. Class 3 have been practising their fire lighting skills with the flint and steel. It definitely isn’t as easy as it looks but we did have some success.
