We had such an amazing time at Young Voices on Monday. The children sang their heart out and we all had a great time.

The children had wonderful time meeting Zack George, best known as Steel! He talked to the children about the importance of being healthy and following your dreams. We might have future gladiators amongst us here at The Howard!

Volunteers from Class 3 and 4 went carol singing this week to the local nursing home.  It is a long standing tradition here at The Howard and one we are very much pleased to be a part of.    We sang a number of songs for the residents, including Silent Night and Away in a Manger.  The children…

Thank you to the children and parents who gave up their Sunday evening to take part in St Peter's service. They read a poem and sang beautifully. We all left feeling very Christmassy.

In breakfast club the children create and decorated a kindness box. Some of the children went around the classrooms and gave everybody a kindness mission, including the teachers. The kindness box will be in reception if anybody fancies a kindness challenge of their own!

The children have been telling their peers about Christmas traditions and followed up by decorating the hall Christmas tree. 

The Class 4 girls travelled to The Vision Football Factory this week to take part in the annual Tamworth Primary School football competition.  It was the first opportunity for many of our girls to take part in competitive football matches and they performed brilliantly.  The improvements continued…

The Children at The Howard showed their respect to all those who have lost their lives in conflicts around the World.  We held an assembly where the children were taught about the important act of remembrance and to conclude we held a 2 minute silence.
