How do you make a pizza?
Class 2 have been learning about a balanced diet and how to make a pizza. They have written instructions and followed them to make a delicious pizza ready to cook at home. Well done everyone.
St Peter's Christmas carol service
Thank you to the children and parents who gave up their Sunday evening to take part in St Peter's service. They read a poem and sang beautifully. We all left feeling very Christmassy.
What happened in the story of the birth of Jesus?
Class 2 are experts at retelling the story of the birth of Jesus. Not only did they put on an amazing nativity with Class 1, they have also explained their understanding through team pictures and retelling their part of the Christmas story.

Magnetic or non-magnetic?
Class 2 enjoyed investigating which objects around our classroom were magnetic and non-magnetic. They then presented their findings on a Venn diagram. Great work everyone.

Can you make a boat that will float?
The children have great fun consolidating their learning on materials that will float and sink. This week they explored whether the material and the shape of the material made a difference as to whether it floated or not.
Counting in tens
Class 2 are exploring place value beyond 20. They have enjoyed moving and singing a count by tens song followed by some practical count in tens games. Well done everyone.
Finding a part?
Class 2 have worked hard to find a missing part. They completed problems practically and then wrote the number sentence to complete the problem. Great practical maths everyone!
Can we make a waterproof shelter for Incy Wincy?
The children had lots of fun showcasing their learning about waterproof materials in a creative science lesson making Incy Wincy a shelter to keep him dry from the rain.
