This afternoon we dissected a range of animal poos ( handmade with oats and cocoa powder so not at all smelly like their real counterparts). We found evidence of their diet and used this to determine whether the animal was a herbivore, carnivore or omnivore. We then used this knowledge to predict which animal it belonged to. We had some great scientific discussion and more importantly lots of fun!
