What a fantastic day at Tamworth Castle.
We became archaeologists for the morning and uncovered artefacts. We had to determine what time period they were from and what they might have been used for.
Then in the afternoon, we acted in role as the different Saxon leaders discovering how the land boundaries changed under their rule.
We enjoyed exploring the castle and venturing up to the tower - what a fantastic day!
