Class 1 have had a wonderful first day back after the Christmas break. Our learning this week is focuses on the season winter, we couldn’t have asked for a better day to start off our topic! This morning we read our focus text ‘Hello Winter’ and went on a winter scavenger hunt. We found lots of clues that winter has firmly arrived! The children loved exploring the outdoor area and we even went into forest school to see what we could find. On our return to the classroom the children wrote lists of words linked to winter in their literacy books. Amazing work Class 1!
